A core tenet of NASA and The Ohio Space Grant Consortium is to provide opportunities for women and underrepresented minorities to achieve their dreams of a STEM career. We are proud to house two Historically Black Colleges and Univerities (HBCU) in Ohio, Central State University and Wilberforce University, the nation’s oldest private HBCU, which greatly assist in that goal. We are always working with our HBCUs and urban-based Affiliates to provide more encouragement and programs for underserved communities. The President’s Executive Order Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government bolsters this dedication and ensures everyone may participate from an equal playing field.
